The Start of Another Adventure
Hello, mga ka-Kool Voice!
So here we are, on the last day already of the CVAP Batch 12 class. Ang bilis naman ng oras no? I'm just glad to be still able to commit to this on top of my current work that requires me to stay up during the "ungodly hours". Anyway my body is already quite getting used to it.
More insights were shared from Ms. Lyn Gonzales. I'm just glad to have immersed myself into this part of session. I'm also thankful that my alarm clock worked to be able to join the session with Ms. Lyn! Several pointers about this line of work had been discussed. At this very point, voice reels have been already discussed. This, alongside a VA resume, are used as determinants to figure the best line of work that suits each voice artist.
I've realized time and again, that voice artistry doesn't always equate to the ability of imitating the voices of different celebrities. It's in the determination of a voice artist to share their talent with the world and attain levels of success, and in a way, help others too.
Towards the end of this session, there were discussions on how we were still allowed to take time to submit the materials required. Thankfully the deadline wasn't on Day 4 of CVAP training! On my end, I always had to get more sleep given the nature of my job. At least I'm still able to catch up on the more important things.
Thank you CVAP, Ms. Lyn, Sir Choy, Ms. Gloria, and the whole team for this opportunity. This is just the start indeed of an amazing adventure. Looking forward to take opportunities I'll be taking real soon.
When a door closes, a window opens indeed!
